John and Linda's Summer Break

John & Linda Watson are deservedly enjoying a slightly quieter time – and all of their grandchildren around! (including the brand new arrival of Milla), after a very demanding year.

Nevertheless, they continue to support and encourage by email, skype, text and however else, folk involved in cross-cultural mission all over the world, as well as to pray for them, and to promote the importance of mission in churches around the place.

Waiting for the newest Shearer

Murray, Shona, Grace & Gabriel Shearer are eagerly awaiting the expected arrival of their newest family member. Please pray for Shona’s labour and the delivery of the baby, and then the settling in process for the family.

There are the ongoing demands of living in a squatter community, the daily trek to get Grace to school and back each day (an hours trip each way, leaving at 7 in the morning), as well as adjusting to a new baby.

Wanted - Sound technician

We need at least two more committed persons for this area of service in the church. You don’t need to be fully qualified, but willing to learn the techie stuff, be attentive to the needs and able to be on sound regularly i.e. 1-2 times a month.

John and Mary face a stressful time

John & Mary Elliott have a full month ahead, even while John’s father is unwell and likely in the last days of his life.

John is travelling to the UK & Holland for WO board meetings then both John & Mary are ministering in Malaysia. They are asking for prayer for two important leadership development courses being run in East Africa from now till early January.

Also pray for John and his Dad and family as they travel through this hard period. And continue to pray for World Outreach missionaries across the world for whom this Christmas time is a key time for sharing the Gospel.
